杜克大学姚俊杰教授于2024年11月18号应中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院刘成波研究员邀请,到访光声成像实验室交流。同时做题为:“From Light to Sound: Breaking Limits in Photoacoustic Imaging, Cavitation Mapping, and Ultrasound Printing”的学术报告。
光声成像(Photoacoustic imaging,PAI)通过声学检测生物组织中的光吸收对比度,已成为一种越来越流行的多尺度解剖、功能和分子成像技术。PAI通过利用分离光传递和超声检测克服了穿透极限,允许在临床相关深度进行深层组织成像。创新的工程和人工智能模型以空前的大视野显著加速了微观PAI,允许监测高度动态或运动敏感的过程,如大脑活动、胎盘发育和玻璃蛙的透明度等。
姚俊杰教授在报告中展示了新开发的手持式、可穿戴式和头戴式PAI设备,为临床前和临床应用提供了高通量、灵活性和可及性。以及通过结合基因编码的光开关分子探针,姚俊杰教授团队将PAI的检测灵敏度提高了1000倍以上,使癌症转移、组织再生和深部脑神经元的可靠成像成为可能。

个人简介:
Dr. Junjie Yao is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Duke University. He earned his B.S. (2006) and M.S. (2008) degrees from Tsinghua University, and Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Yao's research focuses on the development of photoacoustic tomography (PAT) and ultrasound imaging technologies for applications in the life sciences. With a Google Scholar Total Citation count exceeding 10,000 and an H-index of 50, Dr. Yao has been honored with 2019 IEEE Photonic Society Young Investigator Award, the 2021 National Jewish Fund Faculty Fellowship, and the 2022 NSF CAREER Award.
